I read online the the GW:EN prerelease bonus disk hits stores July 8. I reserved my game at ebgames, but they said they don't have the disks yet and it's already August 3rd. When are they going to have them? When does ebgames get the Guild wars eye of the north prerelease disks?
Guild Wars: Eye of the North officially is being released August 31st. It seems that they have been pushing back the date many times, but it does look like this will be the official release now. On EB Games website (Listed in the "Sources" box), it states that the "Pre-Release" ships 8/31/07. However, you will also get the bonus offer along with that. It states with the bonus that you get "Guild Wars Early entry into specific game area - August 24-26". They will e-mail you instructions on how to access that once you make the purchase. Arena Net also offers the Pre Release account access directly through their NC Soft Web Store which is accessed when you login to Guild Wars. Note that you do not obtain actually CD's purchasing directly through the NC Soft store. I hope that helps you! When does ebgames get the Guild wars eye of the north prerelease disks?
The pre-release was actually released on July 20th. I've been checking my local EB Games/Gamestop for keys since then and they still don't have them.
I finally gave up on them and bought the pre-order from Best Buy who had them on the shelves last week. When does ebgames get the Guild wars eye of the north prerelease disks?

How can I get a Fire Bladed Sword in PvP mode of Guild Wars Eye of the North?
y'know the one that prince what's his face has in the role-playing mode, only i need it in PvP mode, so yeah, if i can get it at all. oh by the way i'm playing prophecies if it makes a difference. How can I get a Fire Bladed Sword in PvP mode of Guild Wars Eye of the North?
You speak of a Fiery Dragon Sword that Prince Rurik carries, and as far as PvP goes it's not possible to unlock through Reward Points. The only way to get one would be to get it to drop in PvE, and it's a rare drop from basically any enemy. You can use PvE weapons in PvP, but not the other way around.
They're not particularly expensive anymore; since you're playing Prophecies I would suggest going to Lion's Arch and then just advertise that you want to buy one.
To get PvE items to PvP characters, don't customize them, then use your Xunlai Chest to move things between characters. How can I get a Fire Bladed Sword in PvP mode of Guild Wars Eye of the North?

Plz tell me a store name and Possibly a price!Where can i buy Guild Wars Eye of the North in campbelltown?
I have no idea where Campbelltown is, but you should be able to find the game at any major retailer. Try Walmart, Gamestop, Best Buy. Places like that.
If none of those stores are in your area, then you can buy on the internet. The easiest and safest would be buying directly from guildwars.com.

How do I access Guild Wars Eye of the North?
I know I own GW:EN but I can't for the life of me remember how to access it. I just recently started playing again after 38 months. I know I can access Cantha from Lions Arch, so I thought it'd be the same. But when I checked there was only Cantha. Can someone help me please? How do I access Guild Wars Eye of the North?
The Northern Shiverpeaks or GW.EN can be accessed from Kamadan in NF, Kaineng City in Factions and from Lions Arch in Prophecies.
You just need to speak to the right NPC in any of those 3 cities.
In Lions Arch the NPC is Len something and he stands next to the fountain in the centre of town. How do I access Guild Wars Eye of the North?
EoN has to be accessed by a quest in Lions Arch. Can't remember the name of the NPC, but when you recieve the quest you have to go through a crack in the ground.

I was wondering how much is it right now. I have recently started playing Guild Wars again after 3 years of not playing. How much is Guild Wars Eye of the north?
Well the disc at gamestop is 20 dollars. How much is Guild Wars Eye of the north?
It's gonna vary from store to store. Currently Amazon has it for $9.90. It's well worth the price especially if you're interested in getting Guild Wars 2 when it's released. Eye of the North serves as a bridge between the 2 games. You can store your GW accomplishments in the Hall of Monuments and they'll unlock unknown rewards in GW2. It also introduces you to several of the playable races in GW2.

Can White people with blue eyes in North West of Europe recognize the colour of Yellow ?
This question is not based on skin colour.
But, I think they can recognize the colour of White clearly more than Yellow, as their eyes are blue, because they have adopted to live in dark and cold area where the sunlight doesn't shine much.
So, Can they recognize the lights and stars as white or yellow? Can White people with blue eyes in North West of Europe recognize the colour of Yellow ?
Amon,
Your query really seems racist to me.
I noticed that you spelled the word "colour" in the English version, rather than "color" as in America.
Your query has nothing to do with genealogy; it is either simply a racist thing to get people's goats or about genetics...with a very poor linkage to genetics.
It also show a great deal of ignorance. If you had watched the last season of "Survivor", you saw that Philip, an obviously black person, has blue eyes. See: http://westernparadigm.wordpress.com/200鈥?/a>
People of Armenia, Turkey, Syria, and Central Asia have blue eyes.
Since you said "Can White people with blue eyes..." you query is definitely racist, and against Community Guidelines.
Eye color is due to genetics, but also due to the diet, which influences eye color. All babies are born with blue eyes; eye colors change as persons age. Even yours.
And, to answer your query, people with any pupil color can see any color...with the exception of those persons who are color blind. Usually the color blind are color blind as to differentiating red/green (a hazard to drivers).
Thanks for Best Answer !!!! :) Perhaps I should quit for awhile...this heat is really getting to me. S.A.T.
I am not sure why you have posted in genealogy which is the research of ancestry via cited written records.................I think your question is about colour blindness which is genetic...well I hope your question is about colour blindness and not about different races of people and their skin colour as 'if ' it is about races, what you are asking is racist ...............the country and skin colour someone is has NOTHING at all to do with how and what 'colours' people see
IF it is about colour blindness, it is passed via genes by females normally to their children...females carry and pass on the gene but it is generally males who would develop the colour blindness...so you need to have your eyes tested to find out
Well I was born with a skin cancer type pigmentation, red hair, blue eyes and I freckle and burn. I recognize yellow as a color. Also when I look up into the Heavens and see planets and stars most of them are white and then there is that red planet. A large part of my ancestry comes from northwestern Europe. My only problem is putting up with glare. Can White people with blue eyes in North West of Europe recognize the colour of Yellow ?
Eye color has nothing to do with recognition of colors. The iris is the colored part, and the light that hits the retina and is therefore seen does not pass through the iris. The pupil of the eye, which does pass the light into the eye appears black for that very reason - the light is not reflected, but rather passed through.
I have blue eyes and I have that ancestry, so the answer is yes. We see the color yellow just like anybody else. Ask Maxi, she will laugh in your face.

I got the first Guild Wars and I'm almost done beating it for the first time, get Nightfall or Eye of North?
I dont think i want factions b/c i heard it was more PvP so which should i get NF or GW: EN....
btw i just got my first lvl 20 w/mo yesterdayI got the first Guild Wars and I'm almost done beating it for the first time, get Nightfall or Eye of North?
Well it depends, do you want to carry on more with the same character and go with a shorters storyline then get Eye of the North.
But if you want to have a deeper game with new skills, proffessions and a whole new contenant, pick Night Fall.
of All four my favorite is factions. Its not really PvP based and its has the best storline of the two.I got the first Guild Wars and I'm almost done beating it for the first time, get Nightfall or Eye of North?
Eye of North:D its rocksI got the first Guild Wars and I'm almost done beating it for the first time, get Nightfall or Eye of North?
if you are beating it for the first time, you might want to try out a few other classes and character combos before you are buying a whole other game.
NF has 2 new classes plus 100 more skills i believe. GW:EN only has new skills and just new areas and no new classes. There is only a 10$$ difference in price also. Its all up to you but NF would be my pick of the two.

Is The Eye of The North expansion for guild wars worth Buying?
I am Just allitle worried about spending 30$ on the last game that i dont have of gw because i heard that gw 2 was coming out in a while.
What should i do?Is The Eye of The North expansion for guild wars worth Buying?
If you are interested in GW2, then you definitely want to buy EotN. EotN was designed to be a bridge between the 2 games. Here's why I think you should buy it:
1. Hall of Monuments. The Hall is a hard link between the 2 games. You can record all your achievements in the Hall and each achievement will unlock "something" in GW2. We don't yet know what those unlocks will be. Speculation is something along the lines of minipets or unique weapons skins that can't be achieved elsewhere.
The Hall holds stuff like the titles your character has earned, minipets you own, expensive weapons, Elite armor sets and Elite mission areas you've completed.
2. There are some really cool skills available in Eye of the North. There are 100 extra skills, 10 per profession as well as 50 extra PvE only skills that are not profession specific. Some of these skills are very powerful. If you are struggling to complete missions, these skills will come in handy.
3. Dungeons. I love exploring the dungeons. Some dungeons are very easy and fun to complete and some are quite challenging.
Overall, I don't expect GW2 to be released for about another year. That's plenty of time to build up your Hall of Monuments and gives you some goals to work towards for the new game.Is The Eye of The North expansion for guild wars worth Buying?
Eye of the North is like the playground for those of the twentieth level. There are quite a lot of things to do. You can farm for new, amazing, clothing items.. or go thru dungeons to get great loot. There is also the Hall of Monuments, where you can see all of your accomplishments, which are account-based, character-based, etc.
Overall, you should get EoTN. I enjoy it very much.helly hansen

Are there any other ways to download Guild Wars: Eye of the North on my computer besides the CD?
I bought the game in a store, and my computer doesn't read the disk. I have an access key. Im wondering if I download it off the internet somehow and use my key.Are there any other ways to download Guild Wars: Eye of the North on my computer besides the CD?
Eye of the North is an expansion that requires one of the regular Guild Wars Games to already be on your computer. If you do not have one of the three main games: Prophecies, Factions, or Nightfall, then Eye of the North will not load or install.
Eye of the North is not a stand-alone game.
If you have one of the other games already installed and running, you simply enter your new access key and it will add Eye-of-the-North to your existing account.
If you have a valid access key for one of the main games but it is not already installed on your computer, you can download the client from: http://www.guildwars.com/support/downloa鈥?/a>

Just download the client from the official Guild Wars site, and create an account through it using the access key.
But like a previous poster said, Eye to the North is a pure expansion, unlike the previous three sections of the game, so you have to have Prophesies, Factions, or Nightfall on your account as well.

How do i get into Guild Wars Eye of the North without finishing Prophices?
I'm getting GW:EN for christmas and i just want to start GW:EN without having to finish Prophecies is it possible? How do i get into Guild Wars Eye of the North without finishing Prophices?
Sure.....you don't have to finish a campaign to reach EotN. The requirements are a Level 10 or higher character and you must be in Lion's Arch.
Each campaign has a "port city" that connects to the other campaigns. In Prophecies, the port city is Lion's Arch. Factions has Kaineng Center and Nightfall has Kamadan. There are quests available in these cities that you can complete to crossover to other campaigns.
When you open the package, there will be a sealed access keycode in the box. Add that key to your account and the next time your character is in Lion's Arch a dialog box will pop up giving you details of a new quest available for you to take and complete.

I want to buy Guildwars but do I have to buy Guildwars 1 before I can buy the Nightfall or Eye of the North?
I think it would be nice to get like Nightfall or Eye of the north but I don't know if I need to buy the first game before I buy those. It would make more sence if those games had number in them but I don't know.I want to buy Guildwars but do I have to buy Guildwars 1 before I can buy the Nightfall or Eye of the North?
Nightfall is a stand-alone expansion. You do not need Prophecies and/or Factions to play.
As for Eye of the north, you DO need an already existing expansion to play as that is NOT stand-alone.I want to buy Guildwars but do I have to buy Guildwars 1 before I can buy the Nightfall or Eye of the North?
Yes, you'll need to buy Guildwars the game itself before you get Nightfall or Eye of the North. Nightfall and Eye of the North are both expantions of Guildwars. This means that you need to have Guildwars installed into your computer before you install the other two, it doesn't matter which. Think of them like updates, Guildwars is just Guildwars but when you add the expantion pack Nightfall and/or Eye of the North you are updating it to the latest gameplay. Therefore making it more fun.
Anyways, that was a lot to explain lol, I hope that helped.

Am I really seeing a hurricane with an eye and eye-wall north and west of Hawaii at 12/19/2010 1200AM PST?
I must be seeing things but tropical invest 98 seems to have an eye and eye-wall. Does anyone else see this? This non-hurricane seems to have an eye and eye-wall and intense cyclonic circulation. Can anyone help me understand what this is? I am referring to the NOAA Pacific Tropical Satellite at 0015 PST. I see it. It was initially a non-tropical low pressure system but it is moving over warmer waters and does seem to be acquiring tropical characteristics. If it does so it will be classified as such.

Is it worth buying Guild Wars Trilogy and Eye of the North?
I actually have the first guild wars created but not factions or nightfall. I am wondering if I should just get Eye of the North to go with the first guild wars or just buy the trilogy and eye of the north or should i just wait for guild wars 2 to come out?Is it worth buying Guild Wars Trilogy and Eye of the North?
If you like the first Guild Wars ('Prophecies'), then yes, it's definitely worth getting Factions, Nightfall and Eye of the North. You can add them to your existing account, and play through them with the same characters (or create new ones). The campaigns add entirely new story lines, more playable professions (with Factions you get the Assassin and Ritualist, with Nightfall you get the Dervish and Paragon), a lot more skills, more missions, more items (armor, weapons, upgrades etc) and more pvp areas to compete in. So each of them will give you many more hours of gameplay to keep you busy until GW2 is released (which is most likely early 2012).
Also, Eye of the North offers you a 'bridge' in storyline between the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 (as well as introducing you to the new races Norn and Asura), and it offers you a Hall of Monuments, where you can unlock item rewards in Guild Wars 2 based on achievements in each of the original campaigns. So the more campaigns you own, the easier it is to unlock all possible item rewards. It *is* possible to unlock all item rewards with just Prophecies and Eye of the North, but that may require a lot of in-game money to buy miniatures and rare weapons from other players.
So yes, I would definitely recommend Eye of the North, but also Nightfall and Factions. You mentioned the Trilogy, and that is indeed a good option to get them both, as it's often cheaper to buy the trilogy than it is to buy them separately.
With regard to Eye of the North... keep your eyes on the in-game store between May 26 and June 2, as the EOTN expansion will receive a significant discount because of the 6th anniversary celebration. Is it worth buying Guild Wars Trilogy and Eye of the North?
I have played and beaten all 4 of the campaigns and to me it is worth the money to buy them all so that you aren't completely oblivious to how it all lead up to GW2.

How do i play guild wars eye of the north?
i really like guild wars, and i bought the Eye of the North expansion pack, but i dont know how to get to it. i've heard some people say that you have to get to a certain level or do a certain thing within the original game to get to it, and i've heard others say that they are having the same problem that i am.
and help would be appreciated
and yes, i am incredibaly naive when it comes to this sort of thing. How do i play guild wars eye of the north?
There are 3 places to enter the eotn expansion from, depending on what campaign you are on. You need to be level 10 and be at either Lions Arch (Prophecies), Kaineng Center (Factions), or Kamadan (Nightfall). A message should appear on your screen when you enter one of these places about who to talk to for the quest to enter Eye of the North.
If you need more help or just wanna play hit me up in game name: Ward Against Foes (1st account), or Ward On Frenzy (2nd)How do i play guild wars eye of the north?
where exactly is lion's arch??
Ok, first things first. Which campaigns do you own? Any of them? If you bought just Eye of the North then you will not be able to play unless you also own one of the campaigns. It's simply an expansion.
If you do own a campaign then all you need to do is go to the port town with a characters that's at least level 10 and a new quest will be available that will allow you to transfer to the EotN areas. (Port towns are Lions Arch, Kaineng Center and Kamadan)

Is there a difference between Guild wars and guild wars eye of the north?
my friend got Guild wars original and i got eye of the noth? can we still play together? whats the diff?Is there a difference between Guild wars and guild wars eye of the north?
The guild wars disc includes 2 campainges (spelt wrong) prophicies and faction (I think) in order for you to play with your friend is if you complete the story on prophicies or faction, of if you buy nightfall and beat that story, Eye of The North is an expansion to "Guild Wars" and you open the expansion at Lions Arch, You guys wont be able to play, tell your friend he/she just wasted money on Eye Of The North
So called best answer is wrong on so many counts. The package that contains both Factions and Prophecies was a special bound together set they sold when Factions first came out. You don't have to complete any campaign to go to the Eye of the North either. How did this win best answer?
Guild Wars is the game, Eye Of the North is the expansion pack.
Guild Wars has 3 Campaigns that are stand alone games.
1st one - Prophecies
2nd one- Factions
3rd one - Nightfall
Your friend probably has Prophecies as that is sometimes known simply as Guild Wars.
Each Campaign can be played alone and contains an entire continent of content. However each campaign can also be integrated. In other words if you own all three and add them to the same account, your characters can then travel all three continents and access all items and skills, etc.
As someone said, if your friend has Guild Wars Prophecies only, you must have that to play with him. You could chat with him, visit each other's guild halls, etc, but you couldn't quest together unless you have access to the same continents.
Eye Of the North is an expansion pack, which is mostly end game content. You must have one of the 3 Guild Wars campaigns in order to use Eye Of the North.
Again, Eye Of The North has areas that you will both need that expansion pack to explore.
However your friend can get started with Guild Wars, you will need to buy one of the campaigns first.
Since he has Prophecies that's probably the one you should get. But Factions is a faster leveling campaign and also contains a lot of PVP stuff the other games don't have. Also as someone said Nightfall is how you get Heroes, also a fun part of the game.
eye of the north is an expansion pack. this means you can't even play the game with out one of the original games. the original games are guild wars prophecies (or just know as guild wars), guild wars nightfall, and guild wars factions. since your friend bought the original guild wars (guild wars prophecies) you should get that too because if you don't the only way you guys can meet is in Player vs Player and you can't do any missions or quests together which would really suck....Is there a difference between Guild wars and guild wars eye of the north?
The difference is Eye of the North is just an expansion pack sorta thing. Like an updated version. So as long as both of you have it you both can play together.
You will need to have one of the previous three campaigns in order to be able to play Eye of the North. Additionally, you can only play with your friend if you both have the same campaign installed.

Which Guild Wars pack should I buy, GW and Eye of the North OR GW and Factions?
I wanna start and someone told me that EYE of the north wasnt a good starting out.Which Guild Wars pack should I buy, GW and Eye of the North OR GW and Factions?
Buy Guild Wars and Factions. Eye of the North is only good if you're looking for elite armor or something to do with your time for a few days. The others will keep your attention far longer than that.Which Guild Wars pack should I buy, GW and Eye of the North OR GW and Factions?
You may also consider these possabilities:
Just start out with Guild Wars. There is a ton of content in the original GW game compared to the expansions. Also You may not like it as much as you expect.
Guild Wars and Nightfall. There are three expansions (Factions, Nightfall, and Eye of the North) so don't forget about Nightfall.
Personally I prefer the original GW over any of the three expansions.

Where can I download Guild Wars: Eye of the North Client?
Just as the title says. I am looking for a legit downloadable version of Eye of the North. I just reformatted my computer and have all the disc but the Eye of the North, and it take way too long to download levels through the game.
ThanksWhere can I download Guild Wars: Eye of the North Client?
There are no torrents for MMO games. It doesn't work like that.
Do you already own Eye of the North? If so you don't need to download anything. Just use one of your campaign discs and that will install the game. When you login to the servers, it will know that you own Eye of the North and you'll be able to access that content.
If you don't own the game then you need to buy it. You can download a full client from guildwars.com, but it won't do you any good without buying an access key.Where can I download Guild Wars: Eye of the North Client?
The program utorrent can be used for this. With it you can also download movies and songs. After you download utorrent, i recommend the kickasstorrents, just google it. Don't use the sight pirate bay and minerva. they are full of viruses.

Can I buy Guild Wars Eye of the North on steam if I bought the trilogy in a retail store?
I own the Guild Wars Trilogy, which I bought in a store (best buy), and recently noticed that Steam has Eye of the North which would be much easier to buy from as I wouldn't need to go to a store. Steam does not accept the Guild Wars CD Key as it does some other Retail games, and I am unsure as to whether or not it would work if I bought the Steam version of Eye of the North if I own the retail version of the trilogy. ThanksCan I buy Guild Wars Eye of the North on steam if I bought the trilogy in a retail store?
If you buy it online you should just get an account code that you enter into your Guild Wars Account. It should not matter at all where you get the code at all.
The only content that you get gets patched into the game and it really very small.

I am very confused about my Guild Wars platinum edition with Eye of the North?
For some reason I can only play Eye of the North I think. When I make a new character I choose the Prophecies and I don't even select Eye of the North or anything. And I want to play the original game because it got better ratings than Eye of the North. Help me please! Oh yeah, and also when the game starts up it says Play Guild Wars:Eye of the North.I am very confused about my Guild Wars platinum edition with Eye of the North?
The background has nothing to do with the character creation.
The only campaigns you can create a character for is
Prophecies
Factions
Nightfall
You cannot create a character for EOTN, as it is an expansion, not a full campaign.I am very confused about my Guild Wars platinum edition with Eye of the North?
If the only campaign you own is Prophecies then all your characters will start in prophecies. (You'll start in Ascalon City).
The login screen always says Eye of the North. It has nothing to do with the gameplay. It's simply a promo for the latest game. Once your characters reach a certain point in the game (Lion's Arch), you'll be able to transfer them over to the Eye of the North areas.

Should I get Guild Wars Nightfall or Eye of the North?
I already have Factions, but I want another one, should I get Nightfall or Eye of the North, and one more question, would I be able to play a factions character if I don't have Factions installed on this computer? 10 points best answer!Should I get Guild Wars Nightfall or Eye of the North?
In my opinion, nightfall would be the better choice. I think it's more challenging and it has a more interesting storyline. Eye of the North can also be beat in like 4 or 5 hours if you know what you're doing.. there's not that much to it. Plus, in nightfall you get to start new characters and learn them again from the beginning instead of already being leveled and just following a new storyline.
And yes if you install any campaign of guildwars (except eotn, you need at least one of the campaigns installed on your computer to play eotn) you'll have access to all your characters on your account. For example if you install nightfall on your computer, you'll still have the same log in screen and the same character list.. but when you want to play factions it will download the maps since you don't have the game installed.Should I get Guild Wars Nightfall or Eye of the North?
you can only play eotn if u have the origial guild wars - prophecies. if u have it, i strongly suggest getting eotn. otherwise, get nightfall. nightfall was really good, all of the review sites i checked said that players preferred nightfall way more than factions, and it has a lot more gameplay. but like i said, eotn is better if u have propheciesShould I get Guild Wars Nightfall or Eye of the North?
As long as Factions is linked to your account, you'll be able to play it.
Pro for EotN: You'll be ready for the story of Guild Wars 2.
Pro for Nightfall: 2 new professions (Dervish, Paragon), Heroes, and Hero Battles (1v1 PvP).

Guild wars Eye of north?
Hi i have a question about guild wars eye of north. When i bought the game it came with a cd and a code i bought 2 copies for me and my friend and my friend is currently out of the country and wont be back for a month so i was just wondering can i send him the code and he can redeem it there and play or does he need a cd because he already has all of them except for eon...
So is it possible to use the code and he can play?Guild wars Eye of north?
All he needs is the key code. As he already has the other campaigns, he doesn't even need to download anything. Once the key code is applied to his account, the game will automatically unlock a quest in each of the 3 campaigns that enables him to access the new areas.Guild wars Eye of north?
Absolutely, you don't need the CD for what the CD Key came with, all the CDs are the SAME. But he will still need the installer or whatever it is to actually install Guild Wars and then use the Key to make the account... also he could try and download it and then use the CD Key to make an account.Guild wars Eye of north?
Don't even send it to him, just tell him the code thru Skype. That'd be the best.
But you don't even need to CDs to play GW, as long as you have a code you're fine."

Guild wars eye of the north questions?
well what does guild wars eye of north have and wich guild wars should i get fractions guild wars phorphices or night fall and y o im a kinda a beginner too lolGuild wars eye of the north questions?
Prophercies is the best in my opinion, 6 professions, 4 character slots.
Factions is okay
Nightfall would be better than factions due to heros, but I dislike the professions.
GWEN, is the expansion that can be used on all 3 chapters. And you do not NEED to be level 20 to play in GWEN. With the new update, characters under level 20, are classified as Level 20.
As any other expansion, it gives new armors, weapons, new places to explore, but no new professions.
Gwen was supposed to be a whole new chapter in itself, but was cut short to start creating Guild Wars 2.

I would say you get phrophecies and nightfall, one or the other because they are very good and not too hard. Eye of the north, don't bother getting till you get really good witht he games you already have because you can't play it until you have a levle 20 character
Guild Wars Eye-of-the-North (G.W.E.N) is an expansion of the Guild Wars game universe, not a stand-alone game. You must have at least one of the three main Guild Wars games, plus a character that has advanced to level-20 in order to play in the GWEN area.
If your goal is to get into the GWEN area in the most efficient way, I would first purchase the Guild Wars Prophecies game. This is the first of the three chapters and most directly relates to what is going on in GWEN. Also, I believe Prophecies has the best low-level area for first-time players that allows you to quickly learn the game basics.
Good luck! Guild Wars is a great game and tons of fun. I've been playing for almost 3 years now and haven't even come close to running out of new things to do and new places to explore. The graphics are great and game play rewards thinking and tactics as much (or more) than simply quick reflexes.

I never played Guild Wars before. Can I buy the Eye of the North pack, sign up and start playing?
I wanna start playing Guild Wars. I don't have an account or any other pack of Guild Wars. I've been told that Eye of the North is an expansion pack. Do I need to buy another version like Nightfall or something and then buy the eye of the north or can I just buy the Eye of the North and start playing?
By the way, is that secret key that I need in the Eye of the North pack so I can register an account?
Thanks a lot! :)I never played Guild Wars before. Can I buy the Eye of the North pack, sign up and start playing?
I would really suggest against getting Eye of the North as your first game. It's assumed before you even start that any character you're taking there is level 20 and has a great grasp of how the game works.
If you've never played before I would highly suggest starting with Prophecies since it gives you a huge learning curve in comparison to Factions and Nightfall. Of course, it's always up to you, but you do at least have to have one of them to play Eye of the North.I never played Guild Wars before. Can I buy the Eye of the North pack, sign up and start playing?
No. Unlike all the other versions, Eye to the North is a pure expansion, and requires the first Guild Wars (now sometimes refered to as Prophesies) to play.
The key in Eye to the North is to add to an existing account in order to gain access to the expansion content.I never played Guild Wars before. Can I buy the Eye of the North pack, sign up and start playing?
Eye of the North is just an expansion. You need to own one of the other 3 campaigns first and then add on Eye of the North. It's like going into the store and buying a Wii game cd and then complaining that you can't play it because you don't own a Wii system. Buy the Wii first, then the cds.
I'd recommend buying the first Guild Wars game. It has the slowest learning curve and is the best one for new players.

What's the difference between guild wars: eye of the north and guild wars: eye of the north bear edition?
i thinking about getting eye of the north and i saw that there are 2 different ones, so whats the difference? What's the difference between guild wars: eye of the north and guild wars: eye of the north bear edition?
The Bear edition silly.
but seriously.
The standard edition contains the full game. Unlike the stand-alone chapters, Eye of the North does not add extra character slots to an existing account, and does not have a Collector's Edition. In Europe, an alternative "Bear Edition" is available featuring different cover art.

Why do America constantly start wars?
ever since ww2 When Britain teached them how to fight properly they have not gone a single year with out starting a war all the way up-to now. now there pulling out of Afghanistan and Iraq. they are eyeing north Korea up. and Iran. even Pakistan. What the Hell is a matter with you Americans. Russia and china are quite peaceful there not attacking. anyoneWhy do America constantly start wars?
America didn't rescue Britain. They only got off their *** when they got attacked themselves.
The key battles were won by British troops. That war would have been lost without Britain OR America. It took both of them to win it.
Based on your lack of skills in written communications and use of the English language, I don't think you have the historical knowledge to ask such a question. But in case you can comprehend, I will keep it simple. Somebody has to keep the world in line and safe from Hitlers, Stalins, Komenis, and Saddams, etc, nobody else is capable without us.
With the present administration, we are quickly losing this capability. Hopefully you have some capability to comprehend how these things work. Are you a product of a superior British education? I really don't think so. And, by the way, we are very grateful that the British taught Americans how to fight. I suppose that you don't know that the U.S. kicked Britiains *** in two wars. Seems as if knowing how to fight hasn't been something that was needed to be taught by your countrymen.
Attn Biracial Beauty: Why do you dumb asses insist that Bush stole oil. There was absolutely no oil involved in the attack on Iraq. Please get a real education. By the way, we are not getting oil, opium, or anything from Afganistan either. Why do America constantly start wars?
We have a curropted government. Johnson wanted to enter into the war during pearl harbor times. Johnson was warned multiple times to stop providing to both sides of the war and to stay nutruel but everyone knows that wars make money. Johnson ignored the advice, later he was warned the Japs were coming with missle and he ignored it to make it the Americans think that we were being attacked for no good reason when we were being attacked because Johnson played both sides of the fence and the Japs got tired of it.
Bush started this war so we can go over and steal oil. The 9-1-1 attack, was a set up by our own gov't so we can have an excuse to go over there and take oil. Now Bush and Condelezza Rice has THEIR OWN CONSTRUCTION companies over there rebuilding Iraq. So not only were their taken our taxes for being in congress but now they have a steady income from their construction companies for rebuilding Iraq. "Can you say genius plan". I 2nd guess everything our gov't says, because everything they have told us has been a lie. 911 wasn't their first attempt it's their 2nd.
This is an article about an army colonel suing the Gov't for not allowing them to issue his book on how 911 was a setup by our own gov't.

I think people should try to understand that Americans do not vote on whether we go to war or not..as for this current war..Americans oppose it as they did Vietnam..yes, we vote these people in office..but it's not like they campaign and say " Vote for me, I want to start war with a third world country so I can build a pipeline to get oil but I will lie and tell you it's for your own good...National Security, " Trust me,Why do America constantly start wars?

We start wars because we have to find money. The economy is always better during a war. America is dieing. We are 44-trillion dollars in debt. We do not own our own country any longer. 43 of the states have filed for bankruptcy. The government has been insolvent since the 20s and they just gave themselves a raise. What a bunch of garbage.
We have to fight wars or admit that we are dieing as a nation. America is on the verge of complete economic and social collapse. War burns up resources and stimulates the economy. It is the only way for America to survive as a country.
We had to attack Iraq, they wanted to use currency other than USD for the oil trade. Do you know that oil is traded between countries exclusively in USD. That every country in the world is holding USD. That the Federal Reserve Bank has printed so many USD that they are not even worth the paper they are written on. Do you know that there is no gold in Fort Knox, that it is all owned by the Federal Reserve Bank. Do you know that the Federal Reserve Bank owns you? Is guild wars 2 and expansion to eye of the north or a whole new game?
Im getting back into the game and i only have guild wars and factions so i need nightfall and eye of the north, And im confused to what is what.. And if it is a whole new game, is it better than the old guild wars?Is guild wars 2 and expansion to eye of the north or a whole new game?
GW2 will be an entirely new game. It's due to be released either late in 2010 or 2011. Personally, I don't expect a release date before 2011.
Eye of the North is an expansion to the current game and it's designed to be a bridge between the games. There is an area called the Hall of Monuments and you can store all your accomplishments in this Hall. Those accomplishments will unlock various goodies in GW2. We don't know yet what type of goodies, but Anet has said they likely won't be anything that would give players a tactical advantage over new players. Probably just cool weapon and armor skins and unique minis.

How do I play Guild Wars Eye of the North?
Okay So I have Guild Wars Nightfall and then just the other day I bought the Expansion Eye of the North. It says the expansion works with any Campaign so I entered the Key (Eye of the North Key) into the Guild Wars game and now it says my account is able to play Eye of the North. Please help me!How do I play Guild Wars Eye of the North?
Sier usually has good answers, but he's off base on this one.
Eye of the North is accessible for any characters that are level 10 or higher. If you have a character that meeets the level requirement, just take him to Kamadan and you'll see a new quest available that will allow you to transfer to Eye of the North. You'll see a pop-up box with the quest details when your eligible character enters town. How do I play Guild Wars Eye of the North?
You need to get on a ship and travel to Lion's Arch. From there you can start the Eye of the North Campaign using your current Nightfall character.
You cannot make an ye of the North-character; it is just an expansion and there to expand the world of your current characters.
Best of luck!

It adds a number of things.
1. All players that enter EotN get new hero characters (even people who don't own Nightfall.) There is one hero of each of the 10 classes somewhere in EotN to join up with.
2. It offers new eliet armor for all class, and some class-free gloves and helments.
3. There are new skills avaialbe for all class, some tied to the new titles, some independent.
4. There are a series of titles that actually give you something. The Norn title, for instance, gives an increasing number of bonus health once you hit a certian point in the title track.
It also ties all three campaigns together, making them a little more realted than they where.

White - Blonde Haired light Eyed - North Indians/ Pakistani's?
Okay so anyone who knows South Asian genetics well - knows that we don't all fall into the stereotypical 'dark Brown' look - due to migrations to the sub-continent over the years means that we can basically look like anything some dark, olive, very dark, northeast indians are mongoloid.
All in all people who have a vague knowledge know it something like this -
South Indians (and usually most other Indians):
http://blogs.abcnews.com/photos/uncatego鈥?/a>
http://www.exposay.com/celebrity-photos/鈥?/a>
And the Northwest Indians (Punjab Kashmiri etc):
http://www.flickr.com/photos/56316055@N0鈥?/a>
http://www.flickr.com/photos/56316055@N0鈥?/a>
However - last time when I went to Punjab, and areas of Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir there were many people who looked strange looking they were usually poor - they had white/ tannish skin with dirty blonde hair and strange features - here are some pictures I found which looked like the people which I saw:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/56316055@N0鈥?/a>
http://www.flickr.com/photos/56316055@N0鈥?/a>
http://www.flickr.com/photos/56316055@N0鈥?/a>
Two questions -
Do they look more European to you - or have more South Asian Punjabi features hence why they look strange?
and furthermore why do they look like this - even though their are pale skinned light haired children in my family as well:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/56316055@N0鈥?/a>
These kids look rather awkward - is this a gene defect of some sort they have such as a lack of melanin?
Edit: Please give a more logical answer than 'they are mixed with British' I have seen this said many times - but various genetic tests have been taken in the Northwest and none have British genes - the few which are mixed with British are called Anglo-Indians.
I just want to know from a genetical perspective why the look like this - not european white or South Asian Punjabi?White - Blonde Haired light Eyed - North Indians/ Pakistani's?
i think it goes to show you that we are all connected in a strange way, we are all one race!
i'm super fair skinned, i melt in the sun but my dad, who is Scottish and welsh american and a little native american in him, like 16%, he looks almost Italian and he when he tan's he is very much olive colored to where he looks almost Latino or like some of these people in the photos, he was even once stopped at an airport because he had a thick black goatee and they thought he was a terrorist probably has to do with the region and evolution. you skin has to adapt or you die. people probably north don't have such hot weather so their skin and pigment stay white so that they can absorb vitamin D better, where as in the south its darker because its hotter and the sun is closer to them they don't need vitamin D as much so their skin is darker so that they can be more protected from it. i hope that helps a littleWhite - Blonde Haired light Eyed - North Indians/ Pakistani's?
Hi, Im a Sikh. I went thru your flikr site - very beautiful collection of photos - very well done indeed. Especially that one of the Sikh in the Harmandir Sahib Sarover. And believe me, i think im better looking than more than half those photos. LOL.........
Im also pleased that the two South Indians you put up on this page are good lookin people. Remember though we are different, and though we North Indians are fairer, that does not transalate into better looking. South Indian women can be incredible looking, and are voluptuous in the right places as compared to Punju women. Why dont you put up photos of dark intense South Indian eyes. My girlfriend long back was a Tulu, and i still shiver when i remember looking into those eyes.
I did not like the photo in this link http://www.flickr.com/photos/56316055@N0鈥?/a> please remove the " a racial comparison of Punjabi's and South Indians " the 9 versus 9 photos of North and South Indian women. Thatsa biased photo because you have chosen selectively, and it does not do credit to an otherwise beautiful collection. Put up some photos of Good Looking Gujus - Just Google Beautiful women from Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Bengal ................and you will see
Now to answer your question - i may be wrong, a lot of Greek and Central Asian blood was intermixed on the old silk route but this was in Afghanistan. Some of this spilt into Punjab and the photos you have put up are this small %. Cmon dude, most of us Punjabis are not so good looking. We North Indians and Pakis as a race are fairly good looking, but the Pashtuns, the Lebanese, the Turks, the Venezuelans, the Norwegians, are much better looking, The Germans and American Blacks look more manly, the South East Asians as a whole look more intelligent ( thats a no brainer )

Guild Wars Eye of North/ Guild wars classes?
Does eye of the north cover all guild wars (prophecies, faction and nightfall)?
and what classes are there that has strong attacking spells that uses staffs/wands except elementalist?Guild Wars Eye of North/ Guild wars classes?
No, Eye of The North (EoTN) is an expansion to Prophecies. You NEED Prophecies to run EoTN. While I say this, you CAN import characters from Factions, Prophecies and Nightfall into EoTN by doing What Lies Beneath (Prophecies), I Feel the Earth Move Under Cantha's Feet (Factions) and Hole of Istan (Nightfall).
For the other two bits, I don't know that much about Guild Wars. ;P

Are North Koreans really the bad guys here?
Contrary to what the media says, North Korea does not seem to be a threat in my opinion. The UN officials stated "North Korea has broken all treaties related to the nuclear weapon developmental program". So why do they believe they need this nuclear program?...because a good number of the other corrupted goverments around the world (including America) do not abide by the guidelines just like North Korea has done. With that being said, think about why they are going about doing this. Nobody wants the world against them, but for North Korea it seems like this what they are hoping for, right? Wrong.
In my eyes North Korea is like a paranoid schizophrenic with a gun just waiting to retaliate upon provocation. So who are the ones provoking them? As Americans...we seem to live our daily lives with daily stress and typical 9-5 jobs. Out of those Americans I'd roughly estimate 80% not knowing what the f*ck is going on with our government/military, much less North Korea's and other countries.
I'm not saying one party in this is good or bad because truthfully we (yes, even you) are all the bad ones in this and the ones who try to make a difference seem to be either get caught up in the corruption or get shut down to fast to make a difference. There's got to be a way to deal with all the bullsh*t going on around us, but nothing will be done unless we strive to make it happen. I'm looking at you Obama.
I often look at my friends, family and co-workers and just think about how each of us could make a difference. This world is not corrupt. Humans are corrupt. I'm not a religious kid, nor am I against it. I set my own morals and standards, which has turned out to be a good thing. In history these are the ones who have made differences. I believe people need to set their own guidelines to an extent. Live a little and realize what needs to change. Please never tell yourself you can't make a difference, because you can. You alone affect the people around you. This could change their lives for the better or for the worse.
By now you are probably wondering where this is all going. The point of me typing this on friday night while I could be out kickin it with my friends partying is to inform people. That means informing the intelligent, dumb, religious, black, and white people to do something to make a difference.
I'm an 18 year old male who is looking around at everyone older than me...just wondering where the hell this world is about to go. It's sad to know some of my closest friends could probably do a better job at making this world a better place than some of the men who are the heads of this planet. You can say I don't understand, it's too complex or I'm too young to know what I am talking about, but if that is what you are thinking then you could very well be an example of the exact problem I'm talking about.
Something needs to change and change fast. I have a full life ahead of me and I want the best for myself and the people I love. Even if that meant living a life full of torture so future generations could live in a "changed" better place.
With global warming obviously being there as a routine for the earth, humans are definitely doing a great job at speeding up the process. I know I'll never be president or over in North Korea stopping these "nuclear developmental tests", but I am an average kid who is looking outside the box and I cannot understand why the people around me and at the head of this nation can't do the same.
People say the kids are the future, which is true. I'm a kid trying to make a difference. Not for recognition or to see how many people I can get going against me. I'm doing this for you actually and the people around you. For the future generations and the insane paranoid schizophrenic people who might want to blow the world up.
If you read this, thanks. Now do something.
Negative feedback is welcome too. I'd like everyone to see who I'm talking about when I say I'm trying to inform the "unintelligent".Are North Koreans really the bad guys here?
If you don't find a gun-wielding, paranoid schizophrenic threatening, you're braver than me, sir.Are North Koreans really the bad guys here?
take everything the media says with a tub of salt
who says global warming is real either? I bet you we're cooling down
I read your entire post, good to know there's people like you and me in this generation
That was good. A bit long for comfortable readin on this site tho.
Stuff like No. Korea and USA u need to get info from both sides and then also from a neutral source also to get a real good picture of what's really goin on.
The USA will make their side seem the right one. And probably No. Korea would do the same. Then maybe a disinterested party would look at what was goin on and form an opinion that would be even more valuable.
Anyhow there is always 2 sides to somethin like this. The Americans always flood the media with their views so we know what they say. But not much really comes outta No. Korea so we don't really know much about their side of it.
Since it's been shown recently that America is a world bully, I think maybe it isn't such a bad thing for No. Korea to stick up for itself.
The key difference being America and other countries do not starve their people to run a nuclear program.
Another key difference is the other countries don't threaten war when something happens. They attempt to use diplomacy.
I don't think North Korea is bad, they're like the annoying kid who never shuts up until they get what they want.

I have Guild Wars Eye of North and it came with no serial. Help me!?
send me the serial at blackcatz@verizon.net.

No one here is going to mail you a keycode. Accounts cost money and you need to go buy one. If you bought the game and it's missing a keycode then you need to return it to the store.I have Guild Wars Eye of North and it came with no serial. Help me!?
I highly doubt it came with no serial.
Its against the law to get a serial generator or anything of the type. Send the game maker a letter or call them and tell them your situation.I have Guild Wars Eye of North and it came with no serial. Help me!?
You either bought a used copy, or are too stupid to find the serial.

Is Eye Of North the newest Guild Wars, and do it got all the new classes that was in factions?
Eye of the North isn't a seperate campaign like Factions and Nightfall. Eye of the North is one that you can access from a campaign. In game, at certain outposts, there will be a quest that you can take. This new quest will direct you to the EotN story line. The expansion takes you to a land north of Tyria (prophecies campaign) to add to the game. The EotN Campaign is an expansion meant specifically for the purpose of adding to the Prophecies campaign. For maximum fun, play through the Prophecies campaign to help you understand the plot of EotN in your latter travels.
Does anyone know what the Huge sculpture/statue type thing of an eye in North Dakota is?
Its on Highway 94, im not sure what area though, i just remember seeing it,..
you drive up the driveway, which is lined with fake black birds on posts, and then the huge eye is standing at the top of the cliff and theres fake black birds all over it.
do you know what it is??Does anyone know what the Huge sculpture/statue type thing of an eye in North Dakota is?
It is part of the "Enchanted Highway", which runs south from that sculupture. The statue you are refering to is not an "eye", it is the sun going down with geese flying around it.Does anyone know what the Huge sculpture/statue type thing of an eye in North Dakota is?
Hey Miss P,
It is part of a state wide theme for "Worlds Largest ...",
Welcome to North Dakota's Enchanted Highway...
The Enchanted Highway, a 32 mile stretch of highway starting at Interstate 94 (Exit 72) - about 20 miles east of Dickinson, features some of the world's largest scrap metal sculptures. In fact, the sculpture "Geese in Flight", is currently listed in the Guinness World Book of Records as the Largest Scrap Metal Sculpture in the entire world.chucky cheese

When a hurricane comes ashore where is the storm surge damage worst?
When a hurricane comes ashore where is the storm surge damage worst, directly along the path of the eye, north of or south of the path of the eye? When a hurricane comes ashore where is the storm surge damage worst?
The storm surge is worst on the east side of the hurricane. All the water that is driven up onto a shoreline during a hurricane is due to the fact that hurricanes spin counter-clock wise. This means the wind will come from the southeast, and these winds drive the water upon the shore. Also, this is why hurricane Katrina devasted New Orleans with the east side of the storm hitting the city. When a hurricane comes ashore where is the storm surge damage worst?
First of all, it depends on the direction that the hurricane is moving. If it is the Atlantic Ocean, then it moves east to west. If in the Pacific, they move west to east. On the Atlantic, the storm surge is worst to the west of the eye, in the direction of the storm. On the Pacific, the surge is worst to the east, in the direction of the storm. When a hurricane comes ashore where is the storm surge damage worst?
It's to the East of the eye...Also known as the dirty side of the storm.

i just found out about it. you get reward like item, pet if you have guild war eye of the north account. is it worth to buy guild war eye of north for the reward in guild war 2? not to mention you have to buy the first game too cuz it a expansion. you could save those money for the micro pay in guild war 2. is it worth to buy guild war eye of north?Extra reward for guild war 2 with your guild war eye of north ?
The items you are getting in GW2 from playing Eye of the North are not stuff you are likely to be able to get through micro transactions later, and are not gamebreakers in any way. They are just little fun things, fun titles to tell people "hey! I played this game back in 1!"
I have played through the better part of Prophecies, and then played maybe 1/3rd of both Nightfall and Eye of the North (that is to say, not a lot at all) and I have 10 points, which nets me a whole collection of things already. If you are a longtime player then you will net twice that easily.
You have time though, GW2 is not coming out in the next few months. If you want to try out GW1 then go ahead, have fun, and think of the items for GW2 for what they are; little bonuses.Extra reward for guild war 2 with your guild war eye of north ?
It's a personal opinion as to whether or not you think it's worth buying Eye of the North. If you'd like more information about the rewards offered in the Hall of Monuments for Guild Wars 2, please read this Guild Wars Wiki article: http://bit.ly/hELq0Z. You can make your own judgment based on the information there.Extra reward for guild war 2 with your guild war eye of north ?

Guild wars prophecies and eye of the north question?
Hi,i read somewhere that if you don't have guild wars prophecies you can get the skills from prophecies in eye of the north is that true because eye of north is the expansion of propheciesGuild wars prophecies and eye of the north question?
No, that isn't true. Each campaign has skills that are unique to that campaign as well as a set of "core" skills that are available in all campaigns. If you don't own the campaign then you can't access the skills for that campaign.
Eye of the North is an expansion. It contains 10 new skills for each profession as well as a bunch of PvE only skills. If you own Eye of the North you have access to these skills, but not ones for Prophecies.
