Is The Eye of The North expansion for guild wars worth Buying?

I am Just allitle worried about spending 30$ on the last game that i dont have of gw because i heard that gw 2 was coming out in a while.

What should i do?Is The Eye of The North expansion for guild wars worth Buying?
If you are interested in GW2, then you definitely want to buy EotN. EotN was designed to be a bridge between the 2 games. Here's why I think you should buy it:

1. Hall of Monuments. The Hall is a hard link between the 2 games. You can record all your achievements in the Hall and each achievement will unlock "something" in GW2. We don't yet know what those unlocks will be. Speculation is something along the lines of minipets or unique weapons skins that can't be achieved elsewhere.

The Hall holds stuff like the titles your character has earned, minipets you own, expensive weapons, Elite armor sets and Elite mission areas you've completed.

2. There are some really cool skills available in Eye of the North. There are 100 extra skills, 10 per profession as well as 50 extra PvE only skills that are not profession specific. Some of these skills are very powerful. If you are struggling to complete missions, these skills will come in handy.

3. Dungeons. I love exploring the dungeons. Some dungeons are very easy and fun to complete and some are quite challenging.

Overall, I don't expect GW2 to be released for about another year. That's plenty of time to build up your Hall of Monuments and gives you some goals to work towards for the new game.Is The Eye of The North expansion for guild wars worth Buying?
Eye of the North is like the playground for those of the twentieth level. There are quite a lot of things to do. You can farm for new, amazing, clothing items.. or go thru dungeons to get great loot. There is also the Hall of Monuments, where you can see all of your accomplishments, which are account-based, character-based, etc.

Overall, you should get EoTN. I enjoy it very much.
