How do i play guild wars eye of the north?

i really like guild wars, and i bought the Eye of the North expansion pack, but i dont know how to get to it. i've heard some people say that you have to get to a certain level or do a certain thing within the original game to get to it, and i've heard others say that they are having the same problem that i am.

and help would be appreciated

There are 3 places to enter the eotn expansion from, depending on what campaign you are on. You need to be level 10 and be at either Lions Arch (Prophecies), Kaineng Center (Factions), or Kamadan (Nightfall). A message should appear on your screen when you enter one of these places about who to talk to for the quest to enter Eye of the North.

How do i play guild wars eye of the north?
Ok, first things first. Which campaigns do you own? Any of them? If you bought just Eye of the North then you will not be able to play unless you also own one of the campaigns. It's simply an expansion.



If you do own a campaign then all you need to do is go to the port town with a characters that's at least level 10 and a new quest will be available that will allow you to transfer to the EotN areas. (Port towns are Lions Arch, Kaineng Center and Kamadan)
